That's a Wrap

Jan 30, 2018
It was a fun filled weekend at the 2018 Edmonton Renovation Show! Thousands of home and renovation enthusiasts drove through snow and cold weather to visit the Edmonton Expo Centre over the last three days to get all the tips and tricks they needed to start their projects for the year!

Friday night’s spotlight included a Main Stage talk from HGTV’s Bryan Baeumler presented by the Edmonton Journal. The stage itself was beautifully designed by Turquoise Chair, which made for a wonderful scene throughout the entire weekend. Bryan provided insight on his work on TV as well as the do’s and don’ts of home renovation. Answering as many questions as he could, Bryan was hands-on with show-goers' questions, giving advice for real situation homeowner dilemmas. Following his presentation, Bryan signed autographs and took photos with his adoring fans!

One of the must see features this year had us dreaming for warmer weather! Camping never looked more luxurious than in the Glamping Chic feature which included three dreamy campers by The DIY Mommy, Lisa Last, and Off Grid. Show-goers got inspiration on how to personalize their own RV’s with common DIY materials and how to make use of such little space on the road!

The Backyard Beer Gardens was the go-to place to relax and take a break from 225 exhibitors. Designed by Wicket Blue Interiors and presented by CISN Country, lunch was served by four local food trucks surrounded by fun “outdoor” games in a setting leaving you motivated to start planning an update for your own backyard!

Gathering practical and relevant advice, renovation and design newbies got access to real advice, free of charge!
