That's a Wrap
Jan 30, 2017, 13:57 PM
That’s a wrap on the 3rd annual Edmonton Renovation Show! It was a jam packed weekend of home renovation and decor fun, where thousands of homeowners flooded the halls to see demonstrations, listen to expert presentations, and learn the best home renovation tips and tricks!
The Main Stage, presented by Premier Built Garages and The Edmonton Journal, was the place to be all weekend long! With presentations that covered topics such as minimalist living, and budget friendly fixes for your home, show goers came here for everything they needed to know about their next home renovation.
There were huge crowds gathered at the Main Stage on Friday night and Saturday afternoon, to see HGTV’s Bryan and Sarah Baeumler. Edmonton loves the quick-witted renovation expert, and the strong-minded design authority who are known for their HGTV shows Leave It to Bryan, Disaster DIY, Home to Win, and most recently, Bryan Inc.
Sarah and Bryan Baeumler spoke about their shows, what it’s like to collaborate on renovation projects with your spouse, and how they achieve the perfect work/life balance! After their presentations, excited fans had the opportunity to meet Sarah and Bryan, and take a few photos.
Some of YEG’s tastiest food trucks were parked all weekend long at the Food Truck Alley presented by Sonic 102.9, where they served their tastiest treats. Reno show attendees were able to sit back, put their feet up and chow down on crowd pleasers including Jackie O’s, Smokehouse BBQ, Bully, and Stuffed Gourmet Sausage.
Renovation and design newbies strolled over to Ask an Expert, presented by K97. Here, they had direct access to the industry’s top professionals and were able to ask their most pressing home renovation and decorating questions, such as: How do I begin?”What tools do I start with? Which parts of the renovation should I most definitely ask for help with, and which parts are easy for me to do on my own? Our experts were on hand all weekend long to provide the relevant resources, and practical advice that was needed, completely free of charge!
The FLOFORM Lounge presented by Homes + Land, and designed by House of j was busy all weekend long! Show goers who needed a break from walking the show floor were able to put their feet up, and enjoy a cocktail without missing out on the action, since the lounge was in perfect view of the Main Stage!
Thank you to everyone who joined us at the 2017 Edmonton Renovation Show. We can’t wait to see you all again in the spring for the Edmonton Home + Garden Show (March 23-26, 2017)!
